What do you do when a taxidermist won't answer the phone?

sounds like some taxidermists can be like some gunsmiths! I had a problem getting a rifle back from one locally. Finally after 4 years, I got it back! That's only because a mutual friend helped out. This dude was impossible to get a hold of! He even had a sign on his door saying "no walk in's, by appointment only"!

I quit having taxidermy work done years ago. Stuff takes up too much room and is just that much more to clean and maintain. Now its just pics. I gave all my mounts away. Most went to a friends gunsmithing shop.
