what do you do while you reload?

I do it in front of the TV, but I wouldn't really say I watch TV. I'm used to paying half-attention to it. If I'm not reloading I'm on the computer or playing video games. Rarely do I actually give TV my undivided attention.

If I do divert my attention from the ammunition while weighing charges, I make sure to double check my last step before continuing, and I inspect all my cases for double or empty charges before seating the bullet. A double charge in my .308 load would overflow the case anyway.

Sometimes I listen to the radio, especially for case prepping, but the actual loading part is usually so consuming that I'm too busy concentrating on the process to listen to anything anways.

The only time I allow myself to be distracted is during the resizing and trimming operations - all others must have my undivided attention - There is nothing like noticing that the "Large Weight" of your scale moved or got bumped up a notch sometime AFTER loading up a couple of hundered rounds.

I have the TV on behind me. I can listen and load (sports is a good choice). If it gets to the point where the TV is a distraction, then it means I'm too tired to be loading, and call it a night.

Me, I actually relaod when I reload. Hope to recognize all those who do other things while they 'reload' before I stand beside them on a firing line. Oh, I suppose you could shoot factory ammo made in a factory where they also write jokes for TV comedians, or design accessories for iPods, but me, I like my ammunition made by folks - myself or factory - who had their minds on the business at hand.

I focus on what I'm doing. Wait until the kids go to bed, and then let 'er rip. All my gear is single stage, which helps a bit. Being anal when it comes to the details also helps. With the wife gone, I have no margine for error, so concentrating on the task at hand is a must. My 2 cents worth.

PAY ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have seen lots of results from other peoples, stories and mistakes at range, had small gun shop a few years back and sighted and mounted scopes for customers, and refused to shoot there reloads, new ammo or my on only, Just using wrong powder can be disastrous.

I like to have a coffee and listen to my old rock music like Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd's. My wife (she is a good woman), on many occasions brings me pudding, she knows what I like.

I love working on my reloads and try to pay lots of attention to details.

How can you have any pudding if you don't eat yer meat?
