90-95% of my reloading time is spent on monotonous operations on rifle brass like working on the primer pockets, trimming, chamfering, lubricating, sizing, weighing and priming the cases. I do this in batches of 1000, so if I didn't watch TV at the same time, I'd loose my sanity.
When I'm weighing powder charges, I focus on just that, and after 18 years of reloading, I've never loaded a squib load.
I've only twice used other peoples handloads, and in both batches there was a round with no powder in it. One was a .308, so the bullet didn't even leave the case. Unfortunately the 9mm squib destroyed the barrel on an original Inglis hi-power.
