What do you do with a ruined cartridge

I try to salvage anything good and have a recycle bin for bad brass. Nothing is wasted.

Good idea. I am new to reloading and still need advice. I wasn't aware of this trick.

It actually works better with a large set of side-cutters. Sometimes you can get lucky and pull the bullet without mangling it too bad.

Use your thumb and push on one sideof the bullet, turn 90*push again,turn 90* push again and do it 6-7 different point's around the case mouth, that'll loosen it up enough you'll be able to pull it out with your finger's.
Just did that with a paper patched 45-70 round yesterday.It was a FTF.
