What do you do with your Stainless guns

Hey Guys,

I own a few Stainless revolvers, and was wondering what other people do with theirs? I have a tendancy to over clean and polish things. So with stainless that usually means I sit and play/polish the bloody thing until it looks like a mirror.

So... My question to you feelow GunNutz is, what do you do with yours? Please answer the poll, and fell free to explain

I rub them down with a silicone cloth, but they're my hunting rifles, and aren't as looked after on the outside like my range toys (which I get a little OCD on...).

I don't spend any more time cleaning a stainless than I do a blued gun.
But I just aquired a CZ 75 in Satin Nickel. What a beaut.
And I find it takes less time to keep it looking good, compared to a stainless gun.

I treat my blue and stainless handguns the same. I spray G96 on a cloth and give them a wipe down just before they go in the safe.

I bought stainless for two reasons "easy to clean and no worries about rust"

I hate the look of SS but it is more practical

Stainless looks good both matte and glossy. But matte is what they come factory, and so it's easy peasy.

I had an original "no dash" S&W 686 that was looking a little tired after almost 25 years and thousands of rounds. I polished it and was pleased with the results.

My only stainless revolvers now are a Ruger GP100 and a bead-blast S&W CS-1...I'll be leaving them "as is" for now

I just shoot them and clean them after.

I clean them like I would any of my other firearms. I like the look of a matte finish on them, and would never polish one.

I prefer brushed stainless. Very easy to maintain that "like new" look too.

Just a question, re. autoloaders: is glare, at outdoor ranges, an issue?

Shoot, clean and no polishing sir.
That sounds like superfulous work to me!!
