what do you feed your Ruger MK.II?

Just curious what different people feed their Ruger MK.II pistols. I tried using the elcheapo Remington .22LR Target (standard velocity) ammo ($20 per 500) but after about 50 rounds my Ruger starts experiencing chambering difficulties with this type of ammo. I'm sure the ammo is to blame (as I think it's the cheapest stuff going) ,so I am wondering what ammo others use and what others recommend.

thanks

The club owned Mark II I started off with seemed to do well with Rem Golden Bullets. They had a bit more oomph needed to cycle a dirty gun. :)

How clean are they? Copper washed or lead?

they are lead with a waxy coating..... pick them up for $150 case of 5000 at the local store.

clean as clean can be... very little powder fouling and very few misfires.... think I have had 4 on this last case (think it was the gun...) and I am down to my last 1k rnds.

I go thru about 5k a year so the case lot sale works well for me :) although I do want to try some 36gr next time.... or something else that shoots faster but is just as economical.

CCI blazers, Rem Golden Bullets, AE 40g copper washed, all work great in my 22/45. The fed champions sucked.........
