Hey Folks,

I'm looking for some options, I've got a fair collection and I'm getting tired of carrying several cases to the range and such if I bring a few pistols out (almost every time :p )

I currently have 4 pistols and one revolver, with 5 mags total each.

The dream list includes 7 pistols and 4 revolvers (as of today) I wouldn't mind a case for pistols and one for revolvers.

What are your solutions / experiences?

Thanks!

I use a large HD plastic, 2 trayed, CTC tool box. I can leave the trays in, with supplies and ammo, and can also put up to three handguns in a smaller metal tackle box(locked), on the bottom.
If I want to take 5 handguns, I have another lockable tackle box that with also fit in, if I remove both trays. There's room left at the side, for a cardboard box with ammo, glasses, muffs, with limited supplies. That way I've got everything in one box. If I have the trays full of stuff I may need that day, I have (2) 4 gun plastic case and a separate lockable ammo case. But I do like just having to worry 'bout having only one box to be concerned with.

Any lockable case. Literally. I have a cheap 25 buck Plano case with 2 tiers/pluck out foam that holds 4 pistols. Great for pistol only nights and is super light. It being light plastic also means you could whip it at a wall and break it or accidentally stack something on it much heavier and crack it. I would suggest Dewalt/Milwaukee/Makita/Husky/Princess auto etc etc boxes. Usually found on sale and with some creativity and craft skill you can adapt it beautifully for your needs. They will weigh more tho. Ive seen folks with luggage’s adapted for pistols that are pretty snazzy having wheels and all that. Good luck

I bought a bunch of these lockable, stackable, weather tight plastic boxes that comes with four layers of foam and a carry handle from Princess Auto for $19.99 when they were on sale. I have no idea what they could be used for other than as a handgun case because that is what they look like. I could carry 4 handguns in each and the fact that they could stack neatly in the truck is defiantly a bonus. I use to do the lockable tool box thing but these cases are much better. I think that the regular price is something like $40.00 or something and I haven't seen them anywhere else.

That’s super interesting. I could cut things out to fit!

I have a couple different cases, but I like the princess auto waterproof pelican knockoffs. There’s also these husky boxes from Home Depot. www.homedepot.ca/product/husky-multi-use-weatherproof-case/1001353242

Briefcase from value village for 5 bucks including keys. I also have one of the princess auto cases which I believe are on sale right now.

Double rifle case, with the "egg carton foam" inside.

Fits a rifle and a bunch of handguns and because the foam is not cut for a specific gun I can put whatever i feel like using in it. Works great for me.

I bought this on sale at Canadian Tire, made in Italy not China.
Holds 6 handguns if you arrange them like in the Nanuk 6up.
Usually $100 on sale:

canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/maximum-waterproof-tool-box-large-0581545p.html#srp

This one will hold the same amount, just a different layout:

canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/maximum-waterproof-case-with-wheels-extendable-handle-0581570p.html#srp

You could make these cases fit up to eight if you allot ~2" thickness/handgun.

These would also be great, if you want to go ham, but not waterproof:

Or
