What do you have left to buy?

I've been in "almost done" mode for a few years, no but really I'm almost done! :redface:

I have absolutely no use for a .416 Rigby, but I feel I 'neeeed' one and God help me I'll find a way to justify it! :D

still looking for a few:
> Ruger 99/44 Deerfield
> Browning Bar Short Trac European in 308 or 7mm-08
> Mars Leg 357mag with dark wood
> Plus whatever ones I'm not thinking about at this time

> Really really wanted the Tarus/Rossi revolver rifle 45 LC/410, but since it's restricted for no good reason, I'll have to strike it from my want list. I sure could use it in the bush, but have no need for it at the range.

I just moved a bunch of rifles to make room for new stuff, I alwsys think I have what I need, and then I decide that things arent quite right, and switch itup again. Very few of my hunting guns are on the do not sell list.

I had a huge caliber gap between 22LR and 6.5x55 I filled a bit with a 223 recently, but there is no stopping. I still want a Sharps replica in 45-70, upgrade some cowboy guns and a 9mm pistol would be nice. Also want to build some traditional blackpowder kits. After that, I'm sure something will catch my eye.

I think I posted on this thread a long time ago but I forgot what I said and I'm too lazy to look it up. However, priorities change and so do "needs" as we age.

I want (don't need) one of the new Winchester Super Grade Model 70`s in .270. I have to hurry though cause I am about to be 70 years old and I may forget what it was I wanted.;)

I will probably shoot one deer with it and then go back to my old favorites.

Well for rifles my .22lr, 6.5x55, and a couple .375 H&H's should cover what I need, I have more shotguns than I need, so what is left??

Well I think next will be a drilling or bockbuchsflinte, maybe even a bockdrilling if I can find one I like and can afford. After that I will have to save for a .470 NE double.

Browning 71 Carbine, New Win 1886 45-90, Winchester 1895 .35WCF Takedown, New Model 70 Supergrade .338 Win Mag. I'm not quite there financially though.

What I need is more trigger time and more hunting time. What I want is just about every oddball varmint caliber/rifle combo out there. I find when I get the time I spend way more time loading, shooting, tinkering and thinking of varmint rifles than anything else anymore.

I still need!!

Back packer, outlaw.
mares leg in either 357, 44, 45
45-70 rollin block, and GG
6.5x55 full stock to the tip of the barrel like I saw on one of the earlyer pages in this thread (page2 but his is in 270 and I would love that to!).
.17 hmr
.22 magnum
lever action in the same caliber as the mares leg.

that sounds purrdy nice.

Must have: 30-06 (Browning?), a .410 pump and a Ruger Gunnsite Scout .308.

Would like to have: .22 magnum, .17 HMR and a nice over/under 12 guage.

Still need a .45 auto too. :)

It keeps changing as my interests develop. I have a good collection of Anschutz, Sako and Brno rifles, a few German drillings and combination guns, the usual pump and O/U shotguns and a real nice side by side, a couple of traditional lever actions, and a couple of revolvers and one pistol.
What I'd like is a good double rifle in a medium caliber like 9.3x74R, a single shot break action German stalking rifle, and a 28 gauge side by side bird gun, a rugged stainless synthetic "mountain" style bolt action hunting rifle, a good European switch barrel system rifle, an accurate .22 magnum, and some that I just haven't thought of yet...

A Canadian issue, or purchace for use, 1911 from WWI or an older model 1911 - Colt, Remington - US Army model;

A new tactical shotgun for bear, people, whatever, defence ( like a KEL TEC , 14 round, bull-pup 12 guage);

a .45 Colt wheel gun, the older the better; and

an AR 15 style platform I can use for hunting - but while thats a pipe dream - maybe an XCR or whatever else gets invented that aint restricted.
