Still want a HB .223 and a 338LM, but I'm going to start thinning the collection again. I've thinned it out a few times but guns keep creeping in....Mostly stuff I buy because I like the idea of them but turns out I don't use them much. The CZ Bobwhite sxs 20 guage, Ruger 45 Colt Bisley are going up for sale because of this. Also, my Ruger Stainless 7RM which I haven't used since recieving my Leeper 300WSM. All great guns but the reality is that I don't actually wander the uplands for grouse anymore, handgun hunting is very distant in Canada and I have enough "backup" rifles that I don't need the 7RM!
I think you need a few more calibers on the large end of the scale to that list.
How about something in the 9.3 x 62 size, maybe a 375 ruger, or if your the nostalgic type an H+H, and then a longer distance lunker like a 375 cheytac or 416 barret. Although once your getting to the barret your not far off a 50 cal.
At least one full wood stock should be in the mix of your collection as well.
28 Gauge single shot
A decent .22 that's better than my old beater cooey. Thinking CZ Lux in .22mag
.308 BLR take down w/ pistol grip
45-70 of some kind. Waiting for marlin to get their sh*t together.
Some sort of coyote rifle. Havn't really given this one much thought.
I can't see myself being totally satisfied ever with guns though. I like playing with new toys too much.
Well I still need a light stainless, synthetic in 300 WM or maybe 25-06 or even 7mm mag.
I could use a nice rifle in 375 H&H or 416 Rigby. I want a Beretta Neos and a 9mm STI 1911. I am sure I could come up with more without too much effort.
Thought I had given up Bullseye shooting some time ago. Some limited renewed interest in the odd club shoots has prompted me to acquire a couple of 'possibilities' to use on those occasions.
A Belgium Browning Medalist.
Okay - Here is what Im missing, ....A
Steyr Mannlicher Custom Blue - not certain what caliber but thinking of 270 WSM
Blaser R8 ... and I cant seem to narrow it down much on which I one I prefer.
It never ends. I just got a SAKO L461 in .222 Magnum, I'm considering having a fast twist 6XC built in hunting rifle trim, and I always have room for another Brno 602. Upon further examination, it appears that I'm lacking a Mannlicher carbine of any decent make or caliber. Did I mention I have a hankering for a switch barrel?
