It looks like you guys have eluded the "gun bug". Be careful, this place is a bad influence.

Seriously though, it is cool to see folks who have only one rifle. We've used the 7x57 for Elk, Deer, Moose and Bighorn.

Once they are tuned up though:

Elk: 30-06 (Husky) and 30-40 Krag
Moose: 9,3x57(Pre war Mauser), 303 Brit (1895 SRC, No1 MkIII or Metford) or the above.
Deer, Antelope: 250 3000 (Savage Model 40) or what ever I hold at the time
Bighorn: 7x57 (Brno 21), cuz nothing else should be used and none of my other rifles should look like my 7 does from sheep hunting......
Coyote and Wolf. Grampa's 222 (Savage 340). Any of the above list applies.
Gophers: 22rf (too many to list) in various versions. I'll let the kids pick which rifle.

Yeah, you are a poor man who only has one firearm. Please accept my sympathy and I hope you can be cured of this lingering malady soon. LOL Enjoy.
