hi all i am a little upset due to work i never got out enough this fall and never got my deer  i still have the hunting ich so what do you guys hunt in the off season ie squirell, pigeon, rabbit, and where or what kind of habbitat do you find them in?:)

This year yotes. I've never done it so after a good deer season I haven't had my fill yet. There is always pest around the farm to chase down.

damn coons:50cal:

Out to the bush for rabbits and then out to the open spaces and fields for jackrabbits. I use a .22 for bushers and with the long range a fellow needs for "jacks"...I use a .223 savage. I eat what I shoot. nothing like a good rabbit stew, or shake and bake "rabbit drumsticks"...not allowed to hunt red squirrels here as they are a "fur bearing" animal and you need a trappers licence to get them. Pigeons...where do you find them in the wilds? they all seem to be within city limits...can't shoot there....But as I read about ...try the railroad thoroughfares and in a treestand.....lol...lol...

Coyotes for the winter, gophers in the spring, Africa in the summer, Saskatchewan in the fall. It's always open season for something, somewhere.:D The range fills in any little gaps.

Winter is predator hunting/calling time  Around here, that means coyotes, lynx & wolves. Here's one less coyote for the deer to worry about :D
