ADMIN should be taking notes to establish Requirements for EE adverts. NON-compliant could be pulled, UN-Like "Sold" ads staying up long after "Sold" is put somewhere in the body of the ad INSTEAD of "Marked for deletion" as "Suggested" by admin.
What do you look for when reviewing ads on the EE?

I usually agree with you on most things. Not this time. It’s not the sellers responsibility to explain what a certain reticle looks like. If they post the model of the scope and the particulars of that optic a simple google or look up of the opotic will tell what the reticle looks like! If your a serious buyer not willing to do a tiny bit of homework, cant blame the seller. There are literally thousands of reticles and many with very small differences!!

I don't mean this as any kind of insult, but your username I have blocked, because of your EE ads. Not sure why, but usually it's so that I don't waste my time looking at something that's been upvoted 200 times, or no photos, super high prices or something. Again, not a personal attack, just interesting that I had to decloak you to read your comment, and it's essentially a "I don't owe a buyer nuthin'" kind of thing. Just saying that however you do your EE ads, you do put off buyers like myself. I'm quite sure you don't care, just thought I'd comment since this is the thread for it.
.....All of my EE adds have photos. None of my EE adds ever get BTT more than ten times. If my prices are that far out of line I highly doubt Id have a trader rating of what I have. If I had someone blocked I surely wouldnt be unblocking to see what theyre saying!! How I do my adds seems to work fine for most, 193 and counting at 100 percent. Putting off buyers like you is perfectly fine with me and your correct in I DONT CARE. Dont have the time for lowballing tire kickers,just move on and get ur facts straight next time! IGNORE is a great feature.

Well he apparently can cloak users also. Think he might be stuck in a space time continuum. Weed is widely used and legal in many places as well. Apparently he’s interested enough to “UNCLOAK ME TWICE” . I’ve already proven he’s a liar. All of my adds have photos, never had any add brought back to the top more than ten times, if my prices are out of line then they wouldn’t sell. Obviously you got shut down with your attitude and your pissed! I don’t really care! I give away more than I sell and many on here have been the recipients. Difference on receiving and being shut down is simple, deserving is rewarded, idiots are declined. Captain of the second group you are obviously. I've asked EE mods if we can report these types of ad's to get them removed sooner, was told to pound sand as they will be automatically deleted after a certain time frame of no activity. But you better make sure you post the title of a news article in the post title.
I like cash f2f deals so the very first thing is the location, nice if its in the title, at least first line of description

Unless you live in a big population area with a lot if gun owners, your choices might be slim to none

I look for "quick shipping" in seller's reviews.
Guys usually ship rifles within a day or two, but many sit on smaller stuff like scopes and rings for days.
Sellers need to treat each sold item with the same urgency they'd expect from others.

A good writeup, good price and location. I have no problem if the add doesn't have pics as I will ask for some sent to me.

As a buyer, I would look at some of the following...
1. Location is important, as it determines whether local pickup is possible and gives me a sense of whether shipping would be possible
2. Clear, unique (non stock) photos. By clear I mean not blurry and well lit. That gives me a sense that the seller wants the condition of the item clearly seen and attention to detail is important
3. Some details would be nice - rather than "gun looks good, shoots great"...things like how many shots have gone through a gun, whether they are original owner, any issues with it, etc. would help
4. I am a sucker for a complete package, so I always regard ads where the seller has things like original box, packaging, manuals, etc. well. Maybe it just means the seller is a packrat, but to me, having all that stuff probably is a small indicator that the seller is again detail oriented and takes care of things. But that by no means implies the opposite for people who don't have the packaging
