what do you reccomend for a sling for cqb

I want to shoot a cqb matchbut I am not tossing my rifle on the ground. the rifle is an sks. Ideally I would like the rifle to hang on my left side when I go to my pistol. Thanks in advance.

It's been a while since I looked at an SKS. How does the issue sling attach? I seem to recall it was at the left side in front.

If that is the case, set the sling length so you can cross it under your right arm pit and over your left shoulder. Then when the rifle hangs it will be across the front of your body and the butt should be free of your right hand.

That is my idea anyway.

If the sling attachments are on the sides, then go with the BFG Victory sling.

If that is the case, set the sling length so you can cross it under your right arm pit and over your left shoulder

Running adjustable two point slings you want it over your right shoulder and under your left arm if your a right handed pistol shooter.

Doing so will allow the firearm to hang straight down in front of you instead of side to side, which gets in the way of transitions.

Oh yeah, Farmboy is right. The sling has to mount to the top of the rear stock though right? So there would need to be an adapter sling arrangment to make that work?

Best thing I have ever ran was one I got from Farmboy that attaches right into your MOLLE vest if you are running one of those. Takes all the weight off your neck and puts it on your shoulders.
