I shot one for yrs when I was young, DA, but no swing out , so loaded like a SAA, only down fall.

I love the look of these old pistols; I owned an Ivor Johnson for a while; bout it as a project gun almost like new except the firing pin was missing. They are an odd design; one would need a a lathe with a 4-jaw chuck as the pin was eccentric to the body. I ended up making one from a drill shank with jewelers files. From a bench rest, easily the most accurate pistol I have ever shot; however in practice, the worst trigger I have ever experienced on a pistol (even in single action).
