Great looking deer. Saw one a few years back that was unable to open his mouth as the antler had hooked around. He made the winter once it fell off.

Been told that a few times over the years, no idea if it's true or not, but based on that I never saw the attraction to the non typical racks trophy hunters have.

with all due respect fellas.. this is still an honourable game animal... I would harvest him in a second as he is an appropriate sized animal..... he is likely very wary.... i had a buck with a similar genetic (or not) issue on my land... he had a back leg problem.... now look at him.....
