Can't seem to dig up any reviews on the internet...and have been looking for a good hunting, occasional skeet gun for a little while now...this one is being advertised in a few different places on the net, since last fall. Is there a reason the seller is having a difficult time selling it?
It looks good in the photos, and the little I was able to dig up was mostly positive, but I trust my CGN friends the most...

Rottweil 650 SuperSport 12ga 3" 28" barrel

He has the gun listed on our board as well,

Thanks,

The seller says the gun was made by Antonio Zoli who is no longer in business. This makes some buyers walk away. Also, people must think the gun might be a bit on the high side and would sooner put the money into a newer gun where the maker is still around and parts more readily available.

The seller is attempting to equate this gun to higher-end Zolis. Over the years Zoli made guns that ranged between treasure and trash. The Rottweil 650 SuperSport is most definitely not the same as a Zoli Kronos or Z-Sport.

The link to the UK site is more reflective of what they are worth and guns are more expensive there. I wouldn't price this gun any higher than a comparable low-end Zoli and most of them are going for around the $1,000 even in excellent condition.

FWIW, I am very wary of BS such as "it is without question that any shotguns produced by the Le Armeria Italiane F.LLI Gamba. and by Antonio Zoli are far superior to that of Beretta or Browning commercial grade guns." If he's attempting to BS about Zoli what else is he BSing about?

There was Antonio Zoli and there was also Angelo Zoli. The former made pretty decent quality guns and the examples I've seen on the Trap range have been on par with Beretta and Browning offerings. The latter made pretty much nothing but junk. Fabarm also produced O/U shotguns for Rottweil. What you are going to have to do, is find out exactly which company manufactured this Rottweil 650 SuperSport and then determine value from there.
