What do you think of your Toz-78?

Well Skip .. how can you go wrong? An inexpensive rifle with good accuracy. You need to find the correct rings for the goofy 9.5 mm dovetail, but other than that, it is one great little rifle. If you are a non-believer, put yours up on the exchange and see how long it lasts!! Keep it, you won't get much for it and you can't replace it.

my two cents.

Love 'em.
Got one for me @ a year ago. Son liked it so much i got him one this year for his birthday so he'd keep his hands off mine.
Cheap, accurate, well made.
I see there is still one on the exchange - might buy it as a spare !

I love mine. Its a great little gun that is very fun and accurate. Im glad i picked one up before Armrus went out of business. Ive fired off about 1000 rounds of various ammo with mine and havn't had one FTF, jamm or failure to extract.:)

I bought 2, best triggers I've ever seen on a cheap rimfire. Shoots great, built tough, looks deecent. Can't go wrong for $100. I wish I had bought 10 of them........

I'm not happy with mine so far. The accuracy level was absolutely horrible first time I tried it. I tried sanding the barrel channel but don't know yet if that helped. Been too busy getting firewood lately to shoot again this spring. :( I'll also try some other brands of ammo too but a 5 inch group at 25 yards isn't impressing me so far. Maybe it needs glass bedded or has a bad crown? And when I bought my Toz-78 it arrived with a crack in the forearm stock.

It is the best disposable rifle you will ever buy.:)

Has anyone bought or seen the winchester version that came out this year? I'm wondering if it's worth three times the price?

sounds like you pulled the short straw.:( :D

I bought mine to lend to my gf and friends at the range. It's worth more than the price, and shoots rather well.

only complaints I have are the cheap plastic mags and the trigger cannot be brought (adjusted) over 1lbs.

It took 15 minutes for me to sell my two toz78 on the EE. And given the responses I had, I could have sold 20 of them.

I picked up a few of them for friends, and one for me. Totally totally impressed.

Great trigger, very accurate at 100m (with the right ammo). I find copperwash ammo shoots much better than straight lead in mine.

The bolt on mine is really sticky and I have to wack it pretty hard. I've had 2 or 3 accidental discharges just working the bolt on the damn thing. I have the trigger set pretty light, I'm not sure if that's a problem or not.
