been going to do this for a while. had a P14 that was in a sporter stock.found a decent DP stock set, but it needed lotsa help to. shortened down to 20". i think its ok, sure is handy.

Thats a really PROFESSIONAL patch job on that DP stock! You even matched the different colours of the wood between the handguard and the stock. Far beyond my meager talents!

There actually was a "short Pattern 14." I believe there was three made and two still reside in the Pattern Room in Leeds.... Also a 7.92/303 version was tried. NOT 7.92 but an actual HUGE rimless case called 7.92/303

Actually yes. I can't help but think that in 300WM that would be so freakin awesome, and lets face it, that was the first time I have ever written 'freakin awesome'. But a P-14 or 17, in 300WM or 338WM in that stock configuration, with the iron sites, well it would just be perfect.
That aside, I admire your 'tankerisations', the #4 looks sweet, but the P14.... well like I say, makes me wish I had my ol' P17 in 300WM back, and that it had still had the ears on it

I think that klunk may have a line on barrels chambered and threaded in 7mmRM and 300WM for p-14 / m1917 recievers
