I have a deal on the table with another user on the EE for a trade of my cz 858 with all factory accessories for a full length m305, 520 rounds of steel cased copper washed norinco ammo, three 5/25 round mags, sling, and scope mount which is already installed (the one from marstar) i think thats a pretty damn good deal and i have an sks to eat up all my 7.62x39s so why not right? though i would post this in red rifles cause my 858 is a red rifle. Also if anybody on here has any experience with the marstar m305 scope mount id love to hear what you think

I have a cz 858 and a m305 I wouldn't sell either if my life depended on it...well maybe then but still. Two completely different beasts and style of rifle and both are a blast to shoot. If i was you i might just save up for a new m305. It's up to you in the end but i just hope a few months down the line you dont miss your cz!

I would not trade a cz 858 for a norc.305. And even with the ammo I think your on the lossing end money wise.

The marstar mount is a NC star mount. they are worth $30 at local dealers in edmonton that I know carry them. It works.... if you lock tight the hell of it and get it tweaked in right. The upside is it can be adjusted to out of spec recievers. The down side is that it is very heavy, and very bulky in comparison to competitors.

A Nork for a CZ hmmmmmmmmmm no! the charm will wear off and you will regret selling the 858, and also supply has dried up and could be a long time before more come in or not.

I'd have to agree with most of the other people in this thread. I have two norc m14's, both with the usual goodies and tweaks, one had a full tune up package. I sold my 858 a few months ago, and have regretted it since. I just bought a new VZ this week, personally I prefer the CZ/VZ over the M14's I've had.

Between the ammo, mags and scope mount, it's probably a pretty even trade, but I haven't heard or seen anything to good about the Chinese mounts, so I wouldn't even include that as trade value if it was my deal. If you do want a M14, I'd suggest just saving your pennies and keeping the CZ as well.
