What do you use for case lube? And what do you tumble with?

What is 99% ISP and where do you get it?

Isopropyl alcohol... I buy it at Walmart in their pharmacy area.
$5 for 500ml.
Liquid lanolin is available from those health food/vitamin hippy stores. If they don't carry it you can usually get them to order it in.
Or... Buy it on line... I got mine via Amazon.com

Fluid Film lubricant is lanolin, just not quite as pure a form as the stuff from health food stores.

Imperial Sizing wax and a tumbler with corn cob media. Never felt the need to go the stainless route, I am that not anal about it and couldn't care less if you can eat off the inside of the case.

RCBS lube.

Water, vinegar, dish soap, Lyman cartridge cleaner, hot water, distilled water, in that order. In a Lyman ultrasonic cleaner.

I use kiwi mink oil.

it's basically mink oil and silicone. Cheap as heck and available everywhere. Smells nice, no clean up. Works great.

A online home brew of liquid lanolin 1 part to 4 parts high strength alcohol, around 95 %. Wartm up the lanolin , mix into alcohol, shake and there you go. Super cheap, works fantastic and a simple wipe cleans off any residue ! For tumbling I bought a large bag of walnut shells from a pet store, again super cheap compared to the little containers at gun stores !

For case lube I use Imperial Sizing wax. A little goes a long way and its convenient to use.

I wish I could find some Imperial Sizing Wax, it is always out of stock.

I use RCBS case lube and tumble with ground walnut shells from Princess Auto. I put a cap full of Nu Finish Polish in with every load and a used dryer sheet to collect dust.

For sizing cases I used the C-H case lube for years and a little RCBS lube. Turns out STP oil treatment is pretty much the same stuff and is way cheaper. For the inside of case necks I use powdered graphite applied with a Q-tip. Go to John Deere for the graphite. About $6 buys a lifetime supply.

plinking/AR ammo gets home brew lanolin/alcohol spray lube, toss 50-100 in the sink filled with a little dishsoap and toss around then dry with a hair dryer/let sit overnight.
match/accuracy ammo, LEE paste lube, polish by hand with steel wool.

I gave up on the lee lube because it builds up in the dies and ends up denting case necks. Never had a stuck case with it though. The RCBS is a LOT easier to use. Try it.

Like 9x19p said, a little on the fingers is all you need. I just coat my fingers with a drop or 2 every 10th case or so and roll the case in my fingers as I'm putting it in the press. Cleans up fast with a quick tumble too.

Wet stainless tumbling... Built a tumbler that can do 800 .223 cases at a time.

Lube... Home made "bootleg" recipe.
1 part liquid lanolin 12 parts 99% ISP

I've used several lubes over the years... This home brew is by far the best.
And it's dirt cheap

X2 none better. Lanolin doesn't bugger up powder. I believe that's because its a wax, not an oil (or so I've read ;))
