What do YOU use to clean your SKS?

Windex works to neutralise the sulur acids that are also present with the Potassium chloride residue from the primers. I use barnes ammonia solvent to swab down the barrel because I often still have dirty patches after the boiling water trick. The ammonia has a side benefit of helping remove copper deposits. After clean patches, including the gas tube, rod and the barrel port, comes the hoppes n0 9. after that comes CLP to lube it all back up.
There is a reason the russians used ammonia based solvents as part of the issue kit.
