What do you use your tactical shotgun for?

i also use mine for work as a camp gun where applicable ie. my rifles are not suitable.

A 300 lumen mounted light is re-assuring at 3 AM in the dark bush.

Fun and exercise. We run shotgun shoots every few weeks. It a lot of fun running around shooting steel and flying birds while loading on the run. Check out my thread about a shotgun challenge. Have some fun and build some skills!

I use mine for the slug-only deer season and predator control on my farm. Nothing too fancy though, Remington 870, 20" barrel with choke tubes, Hi-Viz rifle sights, Hogue full-sized stock, improved follower, Wilson over-sized safety, side-saddle and sling. There's a removable light mount for when something goes bump in the night.

I did have a Remington 14" factory barrel with rifle sights and a fixed mod choke. It was sold after testing it in low-light conditions. Too much muzzle flash compared to the 20" and if I have to shoot something at night I'd rather not be blinded by the first shot.

Had my 14" Fabarm at the farm today, took out some slugs and figured I'd break a few cement blocks... Damn, it was fun! A redneck life for me...
