what do YOU use?

For the last ten yrs or so I used an A-Bolt sporter in 22/250 with a 2x7 Leupold.

I also have a blued 700 done over with a sporter weight stainless 1:12" .223 take-off bbl rechambered to 22/250 by Guntech. Scope is a 3x9 Leupold. Action was trued up and bedded to a Classic stock. It's a little heavier then the Browning, but it should be a good shooter.

Savage 24F .223 over 12 gauge with a 4X Bushnell shotgun scope and homemade shooting sticks. perfect for here on the East Coast where they may come in close in heavy cover. The .223 is suprisingly accurate. Only downside is very heavy for walk around hunting

Ruger no 1 heavy stainless varmint special in 22-250, topped with a 5x15x40 bushnell. At 10.5 lbs its a very heavy gun to carry and isn't for everyone. Another great choice for the single shot fan would be a standard or an AB, they're available in a huge variety of great calibers. My 22-250 had done double duty as a deer rifle until I purchased a no 1 ss in 25-06 this winter. Some may digress but I figure I have almost all north american game covered with these two rifles.

2 guns, a Ruger mod 77 with a light barrel in 243. In the last 2 years a Rem SPS in 243. I have only shot 15 coyots this year all with the Rem. I have used most of the common 22 centerfires and still have a few.

After 45 yrs of matching wits with these critters my favourites are a Ruger 10/22 with the double 30 shot clips for close range and 22-250 or 220 swift for all other ranges. Have mostly used the Tikka varmint rifles. They are very accurate and have clips. I do not use larger calibres as my area is starting to become populated with a lot of acreages.

remington 770 chamber .243, my shots do not exceed 300 yards I use 100G bullets so i can also use it for deer. sighted in at 100 yards, drops 3.3 inches at 200 yards and slightly over 1 foot at 300 yards. was a cheap priced gun but works excellent for my needs. ammo is fai rpriced around 18 bucks a box of 20.

I have several rifles that are suitable for coyotes, depending on range/type of hunting.
22 K-Hornet [BRNO ZKW465] does the job out to 150 or a bit farther. For another 100 yards, the Remington 700 Classic in 222 Remington gets the nod. Both these rifles are light and easy carriers for a "walking" hunt. My heavier numbers include a Custom Savage just rebarrelled [Thanks Guntech] in 225 Winchester. Should be an honest 400+ coyote killer. My all-time favorite is my Ruger 77V Tang safety HB in 220 Swift. I have shot coyotes out over 500 yards with this one. If I really want to reach out, I have a Sporter 244 Remington and a HB 6mm Remington. My Swift has actually shot more coyotes than all the rest combined, as It's most often with me when I am watching open areas. Regards, Eagleye.

Depends on how far I have to walk:
Not far - Ruger 77V 22-250 with a Leupold 6.5-20X40 (11 lbs.)
Far - Remington 700 LVSF .223 with a Leupold 4.5-14X50 (7.5 lbs)
That 3.5 lbs. makes a difference at the end of a day!

Stainless mini 14 with Weaver 4x.

Me TOO sort of... Mini 14 Target, Leupold 3.5-10x40

Have 700 bdl 22-250 with HS 10 rounds mags for coyotes.

Use Benelli r1 30-06.

Nothing like a semi and coyotes on the run!
