what do you wanna see from Norinco next?

1. Pistol caliber Carbine, like for example the Kel-tec Sub 2000, available in 9mm, 40S&W and .45ACP, preferably compatible with major magazines, such as Glock. I personally, would have it in Glock .40S&W It should have a compact / folding stock. Other examples include the Just Right carbine, Hera pistol carbine, Roni, Hi-Point, Beretta CX4 Storm, Caracal...
2. A nice shotgun like the Kel-Tec KSG or UTAS UTS-15!
3. 5.56mm pistol, such as the SIG 556 pistol, Kel-Tec PLR-16, Rock River Arms LAR-15, SBR AR15 Pistol...

I like 7offsuit2's idea of FN FAL...though I would add, with the theme of the 7.62 NATO, the FN SCAR Heavy and the Kel-Tec RFB. I purchased one of the earlier Norinco M14's and I still LOVE it! Accuracy for such a low-cost, semi-auto rifle is not bad...and the reliability is STUNNING! (With well over 1000 rounds through it, I've had only a handful of stoppages, and once cleared, it just keeps on going! - if only the same could be said for the Norinco CQ!)

The only negatives I have of the Norinco M14/M305, is that of the weight/bulkiness, the difficulty to mount a scope and how loose and easily knocked, that the rear elevation sight dial is.

ALL OF THE SUGGESTED firearms are possible, all can be made, all would require a minimum order of 5,000 to 6,000 pieces....

Not to mention very substantial deposits up front
John

Given that, as a group, maybe we should all try to suggest and show interest in something that could be non-restricted and priced low for greater mass appeal. Something that's already here and non-restricted, and priced low enough that the non-gun nut would think of purchasing one, like in the below $700 range. I'm thinking non-res AR-180-B clones for slightly less than the price of the Norinco ar15 clone. Or a non-res VZ 58 clone below the price of the M305.

Perhaps Marstar could cull a couple of the most realistic suggestions from this thread and create either a poll or a topic just for that one piece/pieces, with a realistic estimate of cost, and see how many people actually get behind it with a "Yes I will pay in the range of $### for Y-gun with an expectation of delivery in n-months/years and will put up $zz deposit"?

Right now this is just brainstorming and wishful thinking.
