I would agree that a good lever action in 44 mag would be awesome!
I have looked pretty fondly at their lever .22, kind of reminds me of a browning, I'm sure not as nice, but for the right price, it might be worth trying.

If you want a Garand in .308, go get a M14. A Garand should always be 30-06.
