SKS handgun...... Its got to be thee most possible suggestion in this thread. They have thousands of sks's laying around. They could remanufacture them as pistols, mark the magazines and then sell thousands of pistol mags to Canada. I am sure every SKS owner in the country would want one or two magazines.

I know that alot of CGNers are aware of the laws concerning magazines and their interchangeability between different types of firearms, but I'm not sure that many sks owners out there are aware of the benefit that having a pistol version being allowed for sale in canada would bring them (...even if they themselves didn't buy the handgun... and even if the pistol itself was a limited offering that was 'sold out' most of the time, the 10 round marked 'pistol mags' would still be available for sale (and LEGAL use in regular skss)...

I agree with it being one of the most possible suggestions in this thread...
Any time theres a gun that has a pistol version (using the same mag) we should try to get them sold in Canada... it's just good for all of us I think :)

If thats the case could the CSA 7.5" carbines be marketed as pistol and use 10rd mags like the RRA pistol

I would love to see the revolvers as well, and yes Garands and Mausers would be very nice as well.
I hope someone at Marstar is taking notes, and getting this to the appropriate people at Norinco.

if it's already being imported and approved for sale as a carbine I could see the rcmp saying it'd have to be reclassified by them as a pistol for that to apply (it's already restricted so maybe they don't want to call it a pistol specifically for that reason)

Ruger and Marlin both used to make pistol calibre semi auto carbines(Ruger sr9/marlin camp carbine) How about a semi .45 or 9mm using pistol mags in a cheap blowback carbine?

A simple tube-receiver pistol carbine could easily be made right here in Canada. No need to outsource.

sharps falling block and a spencer rifle the spencer in 44mag.

How about that! I was just thinking about a Spencer carbine in a center fire cal., I was thinking 44-40 or 45 colt but 44 mag. would work for me.
How many choices do I get?
How about a single stack sig copy. 220 in 9mm or .40, or better yet a 225 with the extended barrel like the 228 copy. With a threaded barrel too!
A 1911 commander in the original format without that funky squared trigger guard and forward slide cuts, and a better looking rear sight.(man that's ugly!) Blued or park. would be better.
And I really, really want a Walther PP in .22 but I'd take one in .380
(You listening John?)
OH, and how about a lite, small frame 20 gauge SxS with 26-27" barrels and choke tubes. Straight grip, splinter fore end and about 5.5-6 lbs.
I'm not asking too much am I? Can I have that scatter gun before Oct??? ;)

Reising Model 60 knockoff with a legal-length barrel. There were LESS parts in this strict semi-auto than there were in the selective-fire model, they are rugged and reliable and ACCURATE. I have a Model 50 CA but it's not allowed to go to the range in a Free Country. It was the nicest thing for a 150-yard plate gun at milsurp and re-enactment matches. Semi-locked action, fires from a closed bolt; any machine shop can build one. Just the standard-length barrel adds 200 ft/sec to the .45ACP: better than transonic!

And I still want my Lugers and the Stevens ammo!

A proper, non-variant AR10.

Something semi-auto, in 5.56, that takes STANAGs, that wouldn't be restricted/prohib by name.

AR 180B or Type 89 would be good picks I think.

I would like to see a model 10ish version! I never said this before because it, causes my to cry. I was on the last of the last of the FAC system and I never bought a prohibited...! I always wanted a model 10.

<Now that I am crying!... Again!>

I know I am a stupid dumb a$$!
