Just got 2 lbs as a present and am trying to figure out where I should use it. I load for 9mm, .40, .45, 10mm, .38 and .357 and it seems to be more geared towards .45 and .38 special. What's your experiences been with it?

2.5-2.8gr in 38spl with a 148gr hbwc is all I use Bullseye for, then again if I had access to it for a good price I would use it for other stuff.

This is pretty much the only powder i use for 9mm at the moment. Meters very consistently in my 550b and runs great in all my 9's. I reload 45 as well, but I run different powder for that.

For light loads you can pretty much use it in any regular handgun cartridge (38, 40, 45, etc.). There might be better choices for specific calibres but for versatility it's hard to beat. A bonus with Bullseye is that unlike many of the versatile flake powders (Unique, Red Dot, Clays, etc.) it meters much better. 2.8 gr. of Bullseye over a 148 gr. wadcutter is still one of the classic target loads of all time.

Target loads in 38 spl, 45acp.

I find Unique is much more versatile in the cartridges I reload, but Bullseye definitely has it's place.

.38 special. Would probably use it in more, but I've not found any in over a year. I'm on Titegroup for everything else now.
