What does SSG stand for?

The SSG was .32 calibre, and the first three balls fit inside the 12 guage in a triangle; the next and subsequent balls fit into the spaces between the first and previous triangles. This allowed 12 balls in a standard 12 guage. The larger .33 calibre went in helter-skelter, and only 9 balls would fit in the hull. As to what the SSG accronym stands for I do not know. Much like GFY may not mean Good For You . . . but I did enjoy some of the inventiness used in supplying an answer. I checked two boxes of Imperial and Federal shells loaded with SSG and cannot offer a solution to the question. However, since it was a load used by police I am sure there will be another round of suggestions.
