My vote is for the .22 Magnum. I have owned both a .17 HMR and .22 Magnum and I kept the .22 Magnum. I just seem to like shooting it more, ammo is less expensive and I must admit that it does have more punch. I find that my .22 Magnum is every bit as accurate as my 17 was and even a little more so.
What does the .17HMR do that the 22WMR doesnt?
