What does the triangle mean on SKS??

"What is the traingle mean on SKS"????????

Ok now you're just showing off.. lol. You damn well KNEW what that meant.. you're an SKS veteran. We've been through the trenches during the wait for these bastards to get to our doorstep. I recently ordered one as well (not for me though)... and it's also an Izhevsk, but a refurb. Damn nice though.

Wicked rifle though Val... makes everyone jealous.

If you're talking about shopping for guns, then I'm gonna have to say that everyone on CGN's a woman... with twice the estrogen.

I like to share Woodbeef, I thought we could all admire those guns....over a well aged bottle to celebrate history.

Now if it was to be a "small" party, let's break out the good stuff....

By the way Val, I really like how you have fixed up your floor. Nice Job....

Interesting that the first un-issued Izzy that surfaces is one of the rarer ones as Izhevsh SKSs go. Also interesting is the number of stamps overall on the gun. From what I've been told by a few of my SKS Collector Friends from south of the border. An un-issued 1953 Izzy is rarer then a 1949 Tula. Most serious Collectors down there have a 49 Tula of some persuasion, but only a handfull of un-issued Izhvesks are in collections, with almost all of them being from 1954. A couple of them have told me they have never seen an un-issued 1953 in 20 to 35 years of collecting.

So from what you've been told those two rifle must have worth a fortune south of the border since refurbished selling around $500us :D
