What does your .308 battle rifle weigh?

Please do tell, what other goodies did you use to get it so light? My stag 10 bare with a mag and stock was 8lb 6oz. I know I could have cut alot more weight in the BCG but I went with full mass to aid in chambering under adverse weather conditions as I live int the Arctic. And it gets flippin cold so.... Thought it be better to be safe.

sure thing ;)

Stag 10 receiver set, stock trigger and bolt catch
Norgon ambi mag release
Stag 10 Carbine Buffer tube assembly
Magpul CTR buttstock
Radian Raptor LT charging handle
Lantac enhanced bcg
MRA 18.6 5R pencil barrel
MRA 15" handguard
MRA Pincer gas block
MRA gas tube
MRA Defiant Brake
Magpul polymer back up sights.

the MRA parts add up to 2lbs 15oz and the rest comes in at 4lbs 5oz for a total of 7lbs 4oz so it's actually 2 ounces lighter than I posted earlier.
weighing it on a commercial grade digital scale I use for metering composite resins so it is very accurate.

Thanks for sharing, I was kind of kicking myself after I bought the faxon 18.6" Big Gunner as I found the MRA barrels after I had bought the faxon. Mind you the accuracy out of the faxon is alot better than I was expecting so I can't grumble too much.

I haven't seen any reports on the MRA pencil barrel yet so I am curious to see how this one is going to shoot.
Might get out this week sometime

8lb no 0z bare rifle, 9lb with the optic. Mra nitride fluted 4140 barrel, there 15" handguard. also am running a brownells nitride bcg with the roller cam pin(i think its a smart idea) brownells spring, but with the heavy mra 5oz buffer.

I sometime laugh about how everyone is worried about weight ect.... half of us have 20+ lbs of spare change we cart around every day.

XCR-M tipping the scale at 12.6lbs

- 20" heavy barrel with Lantec dragon break
- keymod standard rail
- Bushnell 6500 elite optic in ARMS QD mount
- Magpul foregrip
- aluminium pan/cant bipod
- 20 round (empty) 308 pmag
- Troy BUIS
- MS4 QD sling and keymod QD sling attachment point
- Fast 1 stock

Changed some things on my stag 10.

With the 308 upper I'm down to 8lbs 0oz without a mag or optic. 8lbs 13oz with the aimpoint m4s. Very nice weight and a blast to shoot.

Finally finished the DMR 6.5CM upper. That one is 10lbs 0.8oz with no mag or optic. It doesn't feel super well balanced but I intended to use it mostly from a bipod or other supported positions. Haven't picked up an optic for it yet
