What does your Tikka T3 223 Varminter like?

Starting to reload for my T3 223 Varminter 23 3/4' barrel. 1 in 8 twist
Going to experiment with 69 and 75 gr. bullets with .5 gr different powder charges according to the Varget chart.

What have you found your T3 to like so I can narrow it down?

Surprisingly, mine likes 55gr pills. VMAX loaded over H335 or AA2230.

0.4" groups at 100 yards. I rarely shoot over 400 yards (gophers primarily) so no need to experiment with heavier loads yet...

25.1 grains of varget with a 69 grain sierra mk, 10 thou jump and lapua cases, Fed 205M primers........
trigger has been adjusted down to 11 ounces, weaver style bases and a sightron fixed 36 power scope......finished off the package with a custom laminate benchrest stock and modified a single shot follower and did away with the magazine.........

My T-3 Tactical likes the 69gr Matchking in front of IMR4064. I use Lapua cases, and BR4 primers.

My 8 twist T3 sporter likes a Berger 70gr VLD (kissing lands), a case full of Varget, 205M, and Lapua brass.

Yes - throw the mag out for accuracy. Tikka dropped the ball on that caliber/mag length
My mag is 2.28", rifling starts at 2.38" in my gun with the noslers...go figure!

Anyhow, 26.4 varget and a 60 nosler BT - shoots good!
