Hey all.

What factory round and grain shoots well from a M305?

Norinco, American eagle, etc.

Winchester 150g silvertips

Mine loves to digest the S.A. 146 grain stuff. I'm not sure how accurate it is since I've only shot it on an indoor 50 yard range but it sure functions flawlessly.

Is that South African ammo corrosive?just something a friend said to me ,told him I didn't think so,wasn't sure though.

No, non-corrosive.

I love it. I've never bought ammo in bulk before but I picked up 1960 rounds. It's cheaper than 5.56 right now, kicks a lot more, and is therefore more fun IMHO
It's funny but for the price of a case of ammo I could have had another M14. God I love my M14.

EDIT: I just checked my gas system just incase (the box says non-corrosive but you cant be to safe) it's most certainly non-corrosive.
