What feedback would have you left about this transaction?

Totaly post negitive. I mean WTF is with "The box I used couldn't hold the rest of the ammo, but it's still a good deal" GET A BIGGER BOX!!!!

I have no quams about posting Neg feedback if some is totaly asking for it like this guy. I've never had to do it here, but I have on ebay. Usualy they don't even respond (espeshally if they really have nothing to complain about). My Ebay feedback is still 100%

You can overlook the dirty bore and still provide positive, but getting less than agreed does not IMO warrant "neutral"

I would definitely leave negative, just like he would have if you had received the gun and ammo before payment and then decided to send $100 less. If after discussions he agreed to send along the missing ammo, or some money back, I would agree to neutral - maybe.

The deal wasn't for a rifle and "whatever ammo would fit in the box". It was for a specific number of rounds.

If it costs him another package or a bigger box to make good on the deal he should have been doing that. IF it meant that he F&%^ed his count up then he should have gone out and either bought more ammo, OR credited a comparable amount from the $$ of the deal.

Personally if the deal is settled and then "things change" unless there's some really good incentive for me accept it, I'd call it off.

I did a deal with a gentleman here for a complete lower parts kit. What I got was in unused condition and with an excellent price. I discovered though that the kit was missing all the springs. I PMed him and he sent the missing spring pack express post. I had asked him to send it in a plain envelope that would cost him 50 cents. A truely honourable gentleman.

A stated deal is just that. No variation from what you expect to get. If there is a screw up, the seller should make good out of his own pocket.

I'd give at least a neutral feedback with 'not very satisfied with transaction'.

One thing I see alot of on here in the EE is total deviation from NRA condition grading.
There is no such thing as "Near New" or "Mint, only fired ### rounds". Also, "dirty bore" or "bore needs a good cleaning" or "I don't have time to clean the bore" on here generally means sewer pipe that someone is trying to unload.....

Sounds like a deal gone bad, poor communication from the seller.

If the seller is un-willing to make up the shortfall as agreed to in the deal then I think that a negative rating would be warrented.

All the deals I've had here have been good.

I however was acting as a middleman on another deal and things went bad, took about 2 weeks to straighten that up, I still feal bad about that and will never act as the middleman in a sale again.

My $0.02

Negative Rating. If the seller has been told that you did not get what you paid for and has not told you he had a "blind man" (excuse the poly incorrect), count the ammo, then they are a sack of crap.

Bottom line: If you did not get what you paid for. You OWE it to us to tell us about the deal.

GIVE a NEGATIVE rating.

I have dealt with many on this board. All has been good and all have been good deals and I have made good friends. We all deserve this. So do you. Do the right thing.

Feedback

If he doesn't get slammed, what's the point of this thread or this section of the board? Are we afraid of offending.Far be it for most of you fellas to err on the side of politically correct....lol

Well, it's now spilt milk.... and I know what you mean about neg feedback and such..... but my only advise (to you younger gun collector/buyers) is that when the deal seems to be constantly changing during the first part of the transaction, is to just walk away, as from my experiance, this is a BIG red flag DANGER DANGER!!!!

And the reason I say this to the younger ones out there, is the chances are, you haven't been burnt like this yet, like most of us stupid old farts have..... LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES!!! or you'll end up as dumb old farts too.

Cheers
Dean

X2 and for all you guys who are scared to post negative feedback, don't even bother posting any feedback at all then. Sugar coating a bad deal with a neutral feedback accomplishes nothing. Instead of worrying about your own feedback, how about thinking of the other fine gentlemen on this board.

If this doesn't sink in, I have some wonderful deals for you.

PM me for details.

I don't know now... Will have to open all boxes. Last night I only did it because the kids wanted to see how the stripper clips are loaded, two boxes out of of 5 missed rounds.
