What firearms do you collect?

Used to collect Sako's, but threw them over for my new love, Schultz & Larsens. I now have nine in different calibers. The stocks fit me perfectly and all of mine (and any others I have seen) will shoot honest 1/2" groups at 100 yds with any decent factory ammo such as Norma!!! I have handloaded for 40 yrs but have found it difficult to better good factory ammo in my schultz's. Also have a soft spot for Carl Gustaf's, and Marlin lever guns.

S&W's

Have been collecting S&W's for the past 30 years or so as well as a few early Brno's. Always looking for early S&W's ,pre 1957 . If you know of any that you don't need yourself , let me know.

I have an obsession with Winchester/cooey single shot shotguns. Preferably for me anyway are the winchester 37A's, Cooey 37A's (which are more rare), 84's, 840's, 370's ...But I only want them if they are LNIB or at least Excellent condition. I just got a soft spot for the in my heart..And it's not what you would call expensive to collect these either..I currently have 9. Winchester 37A 12 gauge (2x), 20 gauge (2x), 16 gauge, Cooey 37A 12 gauge, .410 (this one is as factory production conditon), Cooey 84 12 gauge (2x), both are almost like new. For the most part, when I see one that is in great shape, I usually grab it..

Only one manifacturer, it would be Winchesters Pre 64's, all the models but especially the 70. And if I could I would also collect Savages, older lever models and british double rifles and shotguns.

I've got the Dies for a 6.5x55, bought in anticipation of finding a Brno chambered in that caliber...still looking....

Awesome. I bought a set of .223 dies this summer, anticipating buying a varmint rifle in that caliber. Then I bought a 22-250 instead...:p

At least I'm not the only one who buys dies before the rifle.

For the OP, if I was going to collect one manufacturer it would be Anschutz. I couldn't afford it, but it would make for one fantastic view when opening up the safe.

Sako centrefires, Anschutz rimfires, fine double barrel shotguns, and a few European combination guns and American lever actions. All high quality, good wood and blued steel, - not a black, stainless steel or "tactical" gun in the bunch.

Bought alot of different ones over the years...no specifics, just whatever caught my fancy at the time.

Lately it's been mostly Marlin Leverguns

Some of the additiction!

I've always been a "black rifle" type of guy, both current and historical, however I tend to stick to the precision end of things. Right now I own a Remington 700 that I'm planning to properly bed over the Christmas holidays. In the future, I'd like to get an M14, and put something like a McMillan stock or something similar on it. After that, who knows, probably a Mosin-Nagant or a Lee Enfield No.4.

99trix,
Can you tell me about this one? Military issue??

I like anything from the early 1900s, but lately its been Remington Model 8s (and especially the FN Model 1900 version of the 8), old Winchester automatics and lever actions, etc., and milsurps of the period as well.
Heres a sampling, the only decent picture I have - perhaps, over the holidays, I'll have time to take more pics of the others.
