What glass is your go to rimfire rifle wearing?

CZ452 American with Bushnell Banner D&D 4-12X40AO
CZ452 Varmint with Tasco Target/Varmint 6-24X42AO
CZ452 Silhouette with Mueller APV 4.5-14X40AO

All mounted on BKL 257 rings.

You guys all have real glass on your's. My 10/22 thumbhole is sporting a Bushnell Trophy red dot. With the 4 different recticals. I think its the 1x24mm verson. thats my gopher/go to .22. i dont know how to post a picture... wish i didnt hve to use another account...

My tuned up 597 is wearing a bushnell trophy 3-9x40 that I found in the house I bought. It's actually pretty nice in comparison with the scope it came with.

The MkIIF hunten' .22 has a bushnell banner 3-9x. Works good. Target 10/22 wears Tasco 6-24x, -could be brighter and relief is tight. Best of the bunch is my kid's Cub with a Nikon 3-9 BDC. Nice bright glass.

At the risk of sounding boring and repetitive, or at least seriously unimaginative, all three of my best .22's (Win 52D sporter, Anschutz 1712 and Kimber 22) wear identical scopes -- a Leupold VXII 3-9x33mm EFR with target turrets installed by Korth Agencies. For all the uses I've ever had for a .22, I simply can't think of a better scope to put on them.

Only have this 24x Bausch & Lomb older model, but if I could afford it I would have a nightforce 12by42, you shoot smaller groups with big power

How does the Nikon Buckmasters 4.5-14x40 compare to the Mueller APV, aside from price ($350 vs. $200)? These seem to be the only two available in silver in this range and price catergory.

I am, of course, comparing the version with side focus.

Mueller makes a very nice scope, I have a dozen or so... the APV (4.5-14X40mm) is probably the best scope value out there... I have used pretty much every rimfire (SF or adjustable AO) scope out there and my new "go to" scopes are the Hawke Varmint SF line (2.5-10, 3-12, 4-16, 6-24), with side focus and a fantastic 1/2 Mil-Dot reticle.

what scope base is on the savage and were do you get one?

Im getting a new scope for my savage 17 this spring. Dont recommend a bushnell banner thats for sure.

I keep changing my mind on what to get. Im looking at vortex crossover II, hawke varmint and mueller apt for mine.

I've got a 6x24 4200 on my cz style and its certainly not coming off!!

Like having the parallax, need it actually and that much magnification is perfect for the way I use it. Doesn't take too long for people to stop teasing that the scope is bigger than the gun once the shooting starts either. :D
