What grain size do you prefer and why?

Hey guys,
I'm trying to learn more about bullet grain size and the difference they make.
I shoot a G17 and Beretta 90-two in 9mm, have only taken them to the range once and shot 3 different kinds of ammo through them, mainly to test out the Gen 4 Glock

I reload. For 9mm I prefer 124gr but sometimes use 147gr if that's all I can find. When I was shooting factory I used to shoot 115gr the most because it was cheaper usually.

I reload 115gr, they are very cheap and affords more practice.

whole wheat or ancient grains from dempsters but in the g17 115 winchester white box works well. so does s&b of any grain.

I usually shoot MFS 115gr because of the price.

I prefer 124gr because it's slightly less snappy and the same price as 115gr. Also readily available from BDX.

Wolf/DRG Lead 125 gr RN/CN. Pistol likes both.

Hey look - KevinB's famous, he's in that guys sig line. I use 124 grain in 9mm - lots of them.
