Pardon my ignorance (genuinely), but what is the benefit of a setup like this over a standard semi-auto carbine, especially given they're both still restricted? Price, accuracy, reliability, or just the 'different' factor? Pretty hard to compare that to free-hand pistols... :)

PS my best-shooting gun to date has been my Armco-tuned Norinco .45. I'll keep a target next time I'm at the range (though it's nothing special like some of these sharp-shooters).

There are no ignorant questions, especially when I bring this mall ninja to the range.

Does it help? Sure does!

Accuracy? Way better with the AR stock (Sorry, no pics of dead paper.)
Price? (all that sh*t costs me waaay less than buying a pistol caliber carbine)
Reliability? It's a Glock. nuff sed.
Convertibility. Can turn it back to my good ol' G22 in seconds
Restricted status. Yeah that sucks, but you can't win'em all

Different? Yeah fer sure! We're here to have fun and enjoy ourselves and what's right for me may not be right for you...

So if we're sticking with "Handguns" I would have to say my CZ75 SP01 Shadow Cdn Edition. I like mine with the VZ G10 grips!

My Para Ordnance SSP. Made in Canada of course. Shot excellent right out of the box with no mods. It's a shame what happened to that company.

Revolver...GP100 4.2" in single action (friken deadly)
Auto...1911's GSG in .22 and Ruger in .45acp

remote finisher is my G17 Gen4:p. Still can't hit the broad side with it, and It's me not the gun, when I put it in the Roni kit with red dot...bulls at 50m NP!? I foresee an EE sale in it's future which is a shame, because I want to like it but...

My most accurate semi-auto is a SAM Commander-E .45, closely followed by a Norinco 213 9mm (T-33 clone), my most accurate revolver is a Colt 1851 Navy .36 cal. (modern make commemorative) then a Uberti 1873 SAA clone in 45 Colt.

DONT GIVE UP ON THE GLOCK! The fact that you can hit accurately with it means both you and the gun have potential...

Ha! Thanks Buck Futter. Time for some professional training, if I'm still having issues after that, she's a goner. I wish Glock would come out with a designated .22 trainer (I hate the adapter slides and mags). I can't begin to tell you what the GSG 1911 has done for my .45 1911 proficiency.
