I've been shooting a very informal PPC duty pistol match at my local club for a while, and I'm interested in checking out some sanctioned PPC matches. I'm wondering what people are shooting for their duty pistols, and what holsters you guys are using.

The Glock 21 or Sig 220 have both been hard to beat. As for a holster the Serpa Blackhawk Duty level 3 is what you want.

I've thought about the P220, is there more of a following with the older W. German ones? The reason I ask is I've handled some pretty nice looking new Sigs that had pretty terrible triggers and didn't shoot as well as the old ones I've handled. Are there a few other pistols to consider that will do their part accuracy wise?

Qualicum PPC?

Yup, the Pville range one.

Iamcanadianeh specifically asked about a Duty pistol. No wheelies allowed in that game! There is a stringent list of allowed "stock pistols" that can be used. Triggers can be smoothed up but must meet the required weight. I'm shooting a newer model. Seems to shoot straight for me

Ok, I'll have to take another look at the 220's in that case! Do you shoot a German or Exeter Sig?

Not according to my rule book:
21.1.PISTOL - Any Semi-Automatic Pistol that is of a design currently issued to Canadian Law Enforcement Agencies as described in Rule 2.4 for Uniform Duty.
(a) Pistol must be Double Action, Double Action Only, or Striker Fired.

Is your rulebook that of the CPCA...?

NRA rules are different... There's "Duty" or Service revolver as well as "duty" or stock service pistol divisions...

I have had both. I still have and use my Exeter made 220. No issues with its quality. Last season I went back to shooting my G21.
