What gun have you been lusting after lately?

I've got an Ed Brown and there are little plastic pieces you can buy (or you can make your own) that prevent idiot scratches, I've never even come close to scratching mine using these things...so, no excuse.
Yes good point. I think I've seen some solutions like that on youtube. Looks like a few pieces of tape works too.

I've been wanting a SW 617 for a long time now but not paying 1000$.....still kick myself for not grabbing them when they were 700 to 800 in EE a year ago

I got over my idiot scratch pretty fast after i made it on my LB, since it's never to be resold, it's not important... Bof like they say... JP.

I just grabbed a colt rail gun used with the idiot scratch already included! I run my stuff hard and don't worry about those kinda things.....but if I bought mine new and did that I'd be pretty upset

Well, you probably got a great gun at a discount with the scratch, so all good, after all it is just cosmetic. On the funny side, to me anyway, with the current CZ858 debacle, my 1911 is the Molon Labe edition...surprised it wasn't prohibited.

Lately I have been studying all of the offerings in an entry level IPSC pistol in 9mm. Man there are a ton of options and prices all over the board! I think I like the reviews on the Walther, but, S&W looks nice as does the baby Desert Eagle. Maybe I'll have to but more than one!

something I'd like to consider in the future is something that would likely have to be imported - a RIA 1911 in .22 magnum. The only other option for a .22 magnum pistol is by kel tec. I know it's not a FN five-seven, but it's getting close to the idea.
