What happened to all the Canadian Muzzle brakes for M14?

So, the question is straight forward. I thought we were about to see three or four companies release product to compete against the SEI coast guard muzzle brake for the M14. What happened?

In the past I have read about the possibilty of several new parts, aswell as complete rifles coming to market soon, but none of them ever materialized. I don't understand what goes on behind the scenes, so I'm not questioning why; instead, I just wish people wouldn't post on here until it's a certianty; so we don't get our hopes up for nothing. I want to clarify, it's not always the people that bring new products out making the claims, but people just hearing things off the record, and then posting it on here.

Neit Arms has a good brake for ARs but despite several requests, I didn't see any response from the manufacturer.

I always make and park my own I have also noticed that on the Smith Enterprise websight that they have been granted a Canadian trade mark for their vortex flash hider. They don't sell them here, so I am wondering if they were planning on going after places like DLASK who at one time were making their own version
