What happened to Douglas?

I like Douglas.
However, I also have found that he doesn't trust people. Maybe he was a business person for so long. One example was when he heard that Matrix Bullets brand was sold, he immediately (publicly) badmouth the owner Marshman for keeping the bullet-making tools that he had bought to make his special bullets. In deed, the owner had already mailed the tools back to Douglas. I personally met the owner when he was in Crofton. He is a nice guy. He helped Douglas to make his pet bullets.

If you threaten someone that is not educated, you may scare the uneducated. You do it to people who are smarter and have some education, it will get you into a lot of trouble or even laughed at. Making ridiculous threats like "I will ruin your live by hacking into your bank account , get you fired and destroy your credit rating" is stupid. Threatening to harass people with gangsters is actually criminal. There is no justification to make things up like that, especially over a tiny bit of money.

These are the golden words of the day - don't threaten people over the internet or in real life, especially on the internet, it is forever recorded.

Same here and as I live close by, I made arrangements and went and saw Marshman at his operation. He explained his whole process and found him to be very nice and easy to deal with. I was sorry to see him leave the area and checking my bullet supplies, I see I still have;
- 2 boxes of .366, 290gr bonded
- 2 boxes of 375, 300gr FBRN bonded
Anyone know if he still has his hand in on bullet production elsewhere??

I had email conversations with the new owner of Matrix. He was having problems getting supplies of copper, so his production was slow. Explained that hunters bought one or two boxes; whereas, target shooters buy thousands. He was concentrating on 6.5 target bullets. Those conversations must have been two years ago.

Douglas could be prickly, his presence is also missed. Enormous experience, both playing with projects and hunting here and internationally.

When it comes to Scout. Nice deflection, your bz has been called by a growing number of knowledgeable members. Shooters, hunters, and firearms advocates are not falling for your liberal victimhood and unfounded superiority. Free country, at least for now, so if people not buying what your selling, your liberal candidate needs you back.

If you are threatened here, and do not know the person name. Good luck getting the police to do anything. And CGN Isn't any help. I was told 3 months to get a warrant for this site, to give any info they got.

There have been tens of thousands of deals done on CGN without involving threats of gangsters paying someone a visit. You may feel this is appropriate behavior and should be permitted, but apparently not everyone agrees with you, including the owner of CGN.

Take it up with GT if you have a problem with his decision. Please report back here on your progress.

I thought of him when I bought a .270 recently, but the high praises of another very experienced forum member from the Yukon of its effects on the game species around here were a strong enough counterpoint.

He was certainly an opinionated guy but he was always nice enough to me lol. He once offered to send me a whole boatload of reloading components and brass for a rifle I was considering buying gratis. I also remember an excellent post he made on a thread I made about buying a general purpose rifle for hunting in Northern BC. While his opinions on what constituted safe reloading practice in terms of powder charges may be viewed with some skepticism I always found his advice to be sound when I put it into practice.

This forum has a tendency to degrade into pissing contests and cliques, what else can you do but

I like to read the posts of experienced western hunting guys on these forums, I am an adult onset gunowner/hunter and appreciate their insights. Watching them get all riled up is half the fun.

I'm sorry that my posting of CFBMI's anger issues and why GT banned him has distressed you. However, the issue is not an invitation to open up an attack on bartell and I. Hope you feel better.
