What happened to Jetbullets?

Last time I was on their page (which was only a few weeks ago) it said "all operations on hold until (some date in October)". So it looks like the website has been updated recently. Hope the guy is doing alright and its just vacation time or something...
 
I do hope all is well. He fills a big hole for those of us that require cast bullets for our odd ball cartridges (.577 Snider, 43 Mauser, 577/450) but don't cast ourselves. Dose anyone have any news?
 
FYI, I did get a response to a query from Jet Bullets.

Not sure what the situation or the plans are there but it is clear they are not walking away just yet.
 
That's good news and I wish them all the best. For many of us they are the only source to feed our addiction to old Victorian arms.
 
I bought from him before, he is very good.

But I have to say that I think his prices are too low, considering the lack of suppliers in Canada, he should ask more money for the work involved. On the other hand, demand is not very big. I sold some very rare bullets over the last year on gp and while I only did 3 deals, I got premium prices. You can't force demand in this market with low prices.
 
Why not take up casting? Pot is around $100 for a Lee. One mold is maybe another $50 plus your time.

Can't imagine you shoot enough Snider to need massive volumes of projectiles.
 
He broke his hand...Terry will be out til it heals. I sent him a polite email inquiring after some desired business... that was his reply.
Is this a hard thing to do...or a faux pas in the internet age? Actually politely inquiring after someone, as opposed to conjecture?
 
Hope Terry has a speedy recovery.He is a great guy to deal with. If anyone is looking for obsolete cast bullets I would recommend they look at what Kurt has at Prairie Projectiles out of Stettler
 
I just made a purchase with Prairie Projectiles. I was a bit suspicious at first because their logo looks comically bad, but I guess I shouldn't judge a business by its logo. Not an ideal replacement though, considering their .455 hollow-base bullets are twice the price of Terry's.

Many of those molds he has probably do not exist outside of a custom shop.
