What Happened with all the SR's?

I would buy one from TI today if they still stocked them. My folder is my favourite range gun at the moment and would prefer the SR configuration. The Kobra isn’t what it was hyped up to be so am looking for scope mounting options for my folder instead.

Wondering how TI replacement stock will differ from the current one. And if there are improvements i am guessing that intentionally breaking you're stock on the SR is kinda obvious. I mean who wouldn't want an upgrade over something that will eventually break.

I second that the optic is very nice and most people I got to try the SR instantly noticed it and I also feel like the eye relief is way better than the primary x3 arms I was running on my m10x.

I notice there seems to be A LOT of them for sale on gun post. I think many purchasers bought them thinking the SR meant sniper rifle and that the performance expected with that title was there.

These rifles should have been marketed as SR Type Rifle as they are clearly NOT sniper rifles.

I've got an SR coming in the mail. Despite the issues with the stock I wanted one. I'll inspect the buttstock during my usual new purchase teardown and see if it's already damaged or not. Regardless I plan on installing a threaded insert and building up the space left by the over-countersunk screw on the top and recountersinking it to a proper shallower depth that will be more effective. Need to wait and see if it's appropriate to use a small coarse threaded wood screw or a washer head GRK.

TI will have a mount by the end of the year. Or drill holes and put an AK rail on, check gnnutz on youtube, or buy the sigmaco handguard and put a red dot on.

Google mcwistle and type 81, this guy has red dot mounts that fit on the iron sights.
