What hard to find rimfire would you like to have

Thanks grelmar...unfortunately Boyd's won't ship Tacticool Stocks directly to Customers in Canada and the tan stock 455 Varmint is a Manners Composite.

There's a couple of sponsors around here that bring in Boyds stocks... DLask comes to mind... You might try pinging them. And if you really want Tan, there's always a spray bomb of Krylon ;) Or if you want to go really fancy, with a nice cammo pattern, there's all kinds of outfits that do water dipping.

Poke around a bit. I know there's a few people around here who've managed to get past the whole "no Tacticool to Canada" problem.

I might have come off a bit snarky (can't help it, it's who I am)... But really, my main point is that what you desire is in the realm of achievable. It will just take a bit of creativity on the import process.

American 180, cause I know many fields of gophers that could benefit from its abilities

Speaking of gophers... It would have been fun to take a Calico M100 to the field.

I'd like a FN Trombone from the custom shop, or even one with lighter coloured blonde wood, next a Stevens visible loader.

Oh a Remington 12A also lol, yes I love old pump .22's and can't pick just one, but since the thread is "hard to find rimfire" then custom shop trombone it is.

When I went to Vegas I tried my best to find a range with an American-180 to rent. Sadly I was not successful. The gun just seems like it would be insanely fun to shoot.

Agreed. I've always loved the idea of owning one of those guns....but alas, mass quantities of pop cans are spared such a fate in Canada. Given the imaginary choice between full auto and owning a suppressor...I'd take the latter. However, Canada will never turn to the UK example when it comes to those...let alone the US one. Back to the American 180~not sure if you saw this post of mine from a long time ago;

A Remington Nylon 66 in Mohawk Brown. My first .22 , although not the first I had shot. Sold it in 1963 to a friend. Long disappeared.

Couple for sale in the EE if you would like to rekindle, I'm glad I still own my first .22, was nothing fancy just a Sears Roebuck semi auto.

Have 5 years to figure out what to get for my 2nd oldest boys' birthday. Got my eldest a cz 452 lux, and boy does it shoot. Took it to my Dad's camp on the island, had a 3 shot group standing at 25 yards smaller than a dime.
Might be knackered on trying to find a better shooter. Open to suggestions on a nicer looking rifle.

Ithaca X5. No idea how they shoot but I used to covet the one at Hoyt's Hardware in Lethbridge as a kid (dates me, eh), back when a 15-year-old kid could go into a gun store and pick up a rifle to see how it felt.
