didn't cast any bullets yet, but I did blend up a couple small batches of alloy for my pot. messed up both of of them, was trying to hit 21 or 22 BHN for linotype. first batch of ingots came in at 16/17 using the pencil test and the second batch came in at 26/27. not a problem, just mix equal amounts of each in my casting pot and I'll have what I want. I'll blend up one more dutch oven full of lino alloy and then start making bullets. I do all of my smelting and casting outside so now that winter has arrived full force here in Alberta I'll wait for a chinook to blow in before I continue.
