I haven't found anything to speak of in the way of lost gear, but my brother did find a pouch of knives that probably fell off a quad, but I did find a moose skull in a snare once close to 30 years ago. It was before moose season too. It was very cruel as the snare caught it about 6" up it's face so it did not choke it. It was a snare made of aircraft cable. Who hunts moose with a snare?
 
lots of garbage from morons who cant or wont haul their crap out. Recently I found a spot where someone thought hey I'll blast off 200 rounds from my shotgun and leave all the shells on the ground, along with the computer monitor they needed to blow up. This is how we find ourselves with no shooting areas. MORONS.
 
I found this 1950's sedan in the middle of the woods surrounded by trees that are at least 25-30 years old. No where near a trail...it must have been there for a good 40 years. Full of bullet holes naturally!
 
Deer hunting about 15 years ago, walking on a seldom used trail skirting a small lake, burried under leaves, I found a small Walters hatchet. The handle was well weathered and the axe head cleaned up very nicely. I used BLO on the handle and it is a great small hatchet.
 
Me and dad where out a few years back, and we came across a marijuana grow in the middle of nowhere. had power run into an old homestead so we chopped them all down for the owners and called the RCMP.
 
Found a nice Estwing (sp) couple years back.
A grow op which had me undoing my safety.
Pair of rubber boots, one at a time driving down a
gravel road among other useful fishing items.
Camper door must of blown open.
I was hoping the chap was parked at the end where the
pavement starts so I could hand it all back....not there.
A cold beer on the side of the old road I venture.
Cold and unopened...........Kokanee...... :D
 
I came across a decent looking blonde in a bikini by a back woods lake while quading. Also came across 20 girls on a 30 day canoe trip on the montreal river. As hot as it sounds 20 girls that haven't showered or shaved in 2 weeks and been out in blackflies aint what dreams are made of. Found lots of deer sheds and skulls as well

Found an OPP ballistic assault shield, Baja mini bike, full box of 5.56 CF machine gun belt fed blank rounds, a Motorolla radio, simunition rounds, a cooler full of pop.

I think that was about it.
 
I found a puma jagdknicker in one of our fields. It has been sharpened to death, and the handle is weathered, but you can still tell it's a quality German knife. I intend to fix it up one day. And hundreds of deer sheds, I try to see them before the tires "find" them.

I was out marijuana growing one day and came across a huge field of unissued lee enfields and k98's, so I chopped them all up and called the cops.
 
I've found a Leatherman multi-tool, sunglasses, $20 bill and a fanny pak full of shells. Managed to return the shells to the rightful owner.

did he hit a nerve? i would of called the cops to, i wouldnt of chop it though lets the coppers do that
 
1968, found a large clay jug with a carved wooden stopper on a rope. Jug was empty, corked and had just been sitting beside that tree for a very long time, the rope was about rotted off and the wooden stopper was cracked and dried. Probably been there since the 20's. A marijuana predecessor?
