What height rings to fit my classic green.

I am looking to install a Millett 1-4x24 scope onto my Classic Green Rifle.
I am looking to keep the iron sights.
The rear-iron-sights sit 16 mm above the rail. The occular Bell on the scope is 44mm and the tube on the scope is 30mm.
I would assume I need 38mm to the centre of the scope rings. So I would need rings with clearance of 23mm or just under 1".

Does anyone have a similiar configuration? What size ring should I be looking for?
Exactly how much height do I need in the rings.
Most importantly are my calculations correct.

Hope some one can help.
Thanks

When you say the scope 'clear' the irons, I assume you mean placing it just high enough not to interfere with the sights?

The stock is dished on the Sig to allow a proper cheek weld when using the irons. If you place the scope above that, it will be approx. 1.5" from the center line of the scope to the top of the rail. In this instance you may want to consider the clip on Sig cheek piece to increase the height of the comb.

Both scopes are Nightforce NXS 2.5 -10 - the Ocular bell is 33mm
The Larue mount places the center line of the scope @ 1.5" height
The other rings are Nightforce @ 1.125" in height
