What in .223 Rem should I get, Ideas???

I bought one of those MVP`s by Mossberg and I have to say I love it. It depends a lot on your desired uses for the gun. Are you going to be sitting on the range shooting targets ? Sitting in a truck driving around looking for Prairie dogs, then getting out, using a bipod on the tailgate? Or will you be walking with the gun looking for things to shoot at?
My Mossberg lets me use the higher capacity AR15 magazines. The .50 Beowulf mags allow 15 rounds of .223 goodness to be clicked in at a time. I have about 300 rounds of various factory ammo through mine and have to say, I love plinking with it.

Op, are you paying per word?
How's about filling us in on what your intended use, and budget are.

So far, my suggestion is a rifle.

Savage 11 in 223 @ 100m

Need a little more info. What are you going to use it for? The Mossberg is pretty popular. The Savage 11 is very accurate, and if you're looking for the base for a build, they are easy to upgrade. Remington 700 comes in various grades from the SPS on up. They're accurate, and probably have the most aftermarket parts available. All make good accurate rifles for targets, predators, plinking, etc. AR if you're just shooting at the range, or you want to run 3-gun. Robinson Arms if you're looking for a semi that's non-restricted. T-97 if you want bull pup and non-restricted. The list is endless

I love my Norinco T97 for the price. around $1400 with the FTU for the normal rail. Can get about 1.5 moa with match ammo.

If you want to spend more and stay non restricted there is the ~$2300 tavor which should be about the same but lots of people don't like Chinese so they stay away from Norinco.

AR style non restricted? uhm...

Get a Rob Arms XCR in the keymod lightweight barrel, and don't look back. When you want a 6.8 SPC or 7.62x39 for hunting it's a relatively cheap factory conversion and you're on your way. The support is through Wolverine Supplies in Virden MB, who have an awesome website and even better customer service.

Though it may be considered a "red rifle" my vz58 is styled after a black rifle.
AR stock, and a magwedge qwik Rail system, and a AR mag Adaptor

I would like to adapt a full length rail hand gaurd and maybe a barrel shroud eventually, just to reduce the appearance of the length of the spheggehti string
NR barrel, but for now it is a fun shooter :) hope you find something that fits you, and if not theres nothing wrong with having a couple different firearms in the safe.
cheers

Keltec su16x
If your just going to shoot at a pile of dirt, stick with .22 it's cheaper and also goes into dirt

I cant seem to find the Keltec su16x any were for sale unfortunately, I dont find the .22 very fun, and ammo is harder to find where I live. Rather spend abit more for .223.

I got out this weekend and finally put some rounds through my virgin Tavor it was great ! I used my PCV-50 beowulf magazines and shot 70ish American Eagle and another 70ish Tulammo with absolutely no problems at all. I am really looking forward to the next time I can take it out for a rip.

My XCR-L has been very good to me. No regrets, loads of black rifle enjoyment.
After sitting on the fence for months,I put 25% down on an XCR-L 3 weeks ago @CSC to beat the 2015 price jump and getn pretty stoked for this hitch to end and pick up new toy when I get back home to CGY this weekend! :D
