What in the hell...

Reading this, they make it sound like M305 is lawsuit waiting to happen. Magazine fell out of the gun under recoil? What the hell is that all about?
Mind you, this postings you see are from long time ago, about 5 years I gather. But, you see some pattern here, don't you? I mean, are all Americans sites biased like what I see here? I mean, they have to see the value here, don't they? These guys WANTS to pay more, just like people wanting to pay more for things they can buy cheaper in WALMART, because its BRAND NAME...

There was someone on this site that quoted this ( http://www.fulton-armory.com/M14S_Eval.htm ) from Fulton Armory site...

I had a thread some months ago seeing how many M305 owners there were on the board. IIRC it topped out somewhere north of 170 and shy of 200. Keep in mind there's a lot of multiple M14 owners out there (yes Grant, I'm looking at you). I've not heard of anything outside a few minor hiccups, to cause any concern.

Propaganda, methinks.

This is about the old Polytech M-14 rifles that were out in the early 90's befor the US import ban on Chinese made firearms. This have been discussed to death here on the board. These are not the same M-305/M-14s rifles being imported now. The old Polytech rifles were full of problems but the ones we have today in canada are ALOT better.

Exactly what Ljungman mentioned. It's all old news about the earlier Norks and Poly's. They were correct about these early rifles and rightly so.

NOW , fast forward to 2002 and these Norinco rifles are great especially at this price point.

The bottom line is that for $ 399 you are getting a great forged M14 reciever which is dimensionally on par if not better than my old TRW M14's. The parts that happen to come along are just extra goodies.

(Remember, I always built my M14's for competition purposes)

So, that's why I love these recievers... okay, their metric parts just wierd me out, but if you keep things together, right out of the box, the Norinco M14 is not a good deal.

It's a FABULOUS deal !

Cheers,
Barney

I know. I have been sufficiently brainwashed here, I don't think I'll ever save beyond $400 mark. :) I have heard so many of you tell me M305 great, that there is no choice for me but to believe that it is. I've never come across such a strong product endorsement in my life.;)

To hell with them. If they don't like the M305, that's all the more for us and it seems like Marstar and Dark aren't having any problem moving them. Hell, I'd buy another if I had the spare cash sitting around.

One board members blew up on him not too long ago the first time he shot it......he posted the pics and info on here.
Little more then a minor hiccup.
People always #### on the Springfield M1A's and say they are prone to KB's, there are a couple hundred thousand of them out there with 1 documented KB.
200 Nork owners on this board with one documented KB......you do the math.:)
FWIW, I'd rather have a Garand.:p

Yeah, that was mine Hitzy, dont know what the problem was to this date as I sold it off (disclosed the problem obviously) I would not think twice about getting another one though, as they are a hell of a deal and even american made firearms are not immune to failure.

I own a Springfield-Armory M1A and it's great ... cost me a faaarken fortune mind you ... ... and now got me a Norinco M305 and it cost me 1/4 of my Springfield and shoots just as well ... I love my norky ... :D
